Undoubtedly in the South somewhere. Looks like Atlanta, to be honest.
Post facelift L322 rules all!

Right side of the country. It’s a start. Think southwest.

They have a nice driveway for them anyway.

Black Range Rover is a Sport, white one is an actual Range Rover FWIW

Florida? Is there a one guess per oppo rule?
![]() 09/29/2015 at 22:25 |
|
I thought you would be more of a pre-facelift kinda guy, considering you and your Carmax games ...and yes, the South is correct, but not Atlanta...a bit more north and west from there...

Steep and badly paved? Perfect. (I love your Saab by the way, what a beautiful and awesome little car...is it a V4 or two stroke?)
![]() 09/29/2015 at 22:27 |
|
Just realized my mistake, thanks for pointing that out!
![]() 09/29/2015 at 22:29 |
|
Not at all...guess to your heart’s content! Also, too far south now, and still not enough west...
![]() 09/29/2015 at 22:30 |
|
It’s the V4.

Only 1% of all Americans can spot the difference.
Can you? Click here to find out.

surprising to hear from Oppo’s resident Third Row Seat Driver

I’d like a driveway like that. Rock crawling everyday :D
![]() 09/29/2015 at 22:33 |
|
No problem! And I’ll take the white one thank you very much.

Nashville.
![]() 09/29/2015 at 22:36 |
|
First guess correct! I presume you know the area?
![]() 09/29/2015 at 22:37 |
|
Especially with all these Landies...
![]() 09/29/2015 at 22:37 |
|
Cool! Do you daily it? Is it generally reliable? I want to own one at somepoint in my life though probably not the near future...
![]() 09/29/2015 at 22:40 |
|
hehe
![]() 09/29/2015 at 22:40 |
|
Well the one you have marked as pre-facelift is actually a Sport! And I am very anti-Sport.
![]() 09/29/2015 at 22:44 |
|
It is my DD usually. But it is due for some major work this winter once it cools down nough to work on it.
![]() 09/29/2015 at 22:47 |
|
Hah! I realized that as soon as I replied to you...I blame lack of sleep for the issue :)
Anyways, are you anti-Sport just for the fun of it or are they noticeably worse than the true Rangies?
![]() 09/29/2015 at 22:47 |
|
What else do you drive?
![]() 09/29/2015 at 22:49 |
|
A 97 Lexus, but my brother has been “borrowing” it for most of the year.
![]() 09/29/2015 at 22:51 |
|
Hah! So you have your interesting car and your reliable car...what Lexus?
![]() 09/29/2015 at 22:54 |
|
ls300. It has got nearly 300,000 miles on it now. I don’t know how much more reliable it is than the SAAB at this point, but it has AC.
![]() 09/29/2015 at 23:04 |
|
Nice! 300K miles is no small feat, and AC is a godsend especially if you live where I do in CA...you have an awesome fleet!
![]() 09/29/2015 at 23:34 |
|
Why and how did you pick my driveway........?
Jk, but this should been tagged \rsaldanabait.
Now I need to go see if that guy wants to sell me his D2 as a parts and trim donor for mine.
![]() 09/29/2015 at 23:45 |

Not at all. I cheated. I went to Google Maps and searched Lilian Street (visible in the first screen shot), and since there was one in TN (also a few in TX, but that doesn’t look like TX, and you mentioned the east coast, so that ruled out the Lilian St in LA), I started there. A few minutes of “driving” down the street found the Rovers.
![]() 09/29/2015 at 23:53 |
|
Hah, I forgot how much you loved Landies...but besides, I’d take this driveway in a heartbeat if I were offered it...so much cachet and capability at the same time...
![]() 09/29/2015 at 23:54 |
|
Wow...I guess I should blot out the street names as well, I thought it wouldn’t matter too much but I guess it does! :)
![]() 09/29/2015 at 23:57 |
|
Yup. Keep an eye out for an impending “finally reached 100k miles in my D2” post. Dis gone be good, I may even detail out my most expensive repairs to date.
![]() 09/29/2015 at 23:59 |
|
It’s probably in the Appalachians, and I’m ruling out Virginia and Maryland because of front plates.
Houses clearly built in the 50s, brick, with some updates...
I’m guessing Knoxville area of Tennessee.
No wait. White Rover has an NC State front plate. How about Asheville?
![]() 09/29/2015 at 23:59 |
|
Yeah, but I’m also patient enough to do the detective work. Others might not be.
![]() 09/30/2015 at 00:18 |
|
Super close...right state (Tennessee), different “ville”
![]() 09/30/2015 at 00:19 |
|
Awesome! How long have you had the D2? Do you DD it or do you have something more ‘reliable’ for that?
![]() 09/30/2015 at 09:42 |
|
I have had it 8 years.
![]() 09/30/2015 at 09:43 |
|
That is a UT plate and a dead giveaway
![]() 09/30/2015 at 10:27 |
|
As in Utah? More east than that...
![]() 09/30/2015 at 10:31 |
|
No as in university of Tennesee. This is Nashville, near the downtown, trendy gentrified as fuck area.
![]() 09/30/2015 at 10:37 |
|
Got it. You sure know the area well. :)

L322!! Love it.
